Notably, it supports animation up to 1000 frames and can output animated formats including both GIF and APNG. The APNG format is an advanced version of PNG that enables animation capabilities. Compatibility extends to major browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera. The maximum number of frames is contingent upon the selected canvas size. Within the application, one frame is represented by a single canvas and accommodates 5 layers. Due to the transparent nature of the layers, the usable palette is restricted to 255 colors.

Additionally, users can import and modify image files such as GIF, JPG, and PNG saved on their devices.
